The 'A-Team', an anti-drugs group from Sekolah Pg Jaya Negara Pg Abu Bakar in Kg Pandan, recently made a visit to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Belait.

The group was also accompanied by 25 other students and two school counsellors. Their objective was to get more information and knowledge relating to drugs and their misuse in Brunei. This, in turn, would hopefully enable the 'A-Team' members to spread the anti-drugs message. It started with a reading of surah al-fatihah and a briefing from a NCB officer, followed with a sharing session between NCB officers and the students, and a video clip presentation by NCB.

To further promote the anti-drugs message, NCB presented bags and leaflets containing some important information to the students. The group was later brought to visit the exhibition room to view the different types of drugs as well as the consequences of abusing them. In the room, the students also actively interacted and asked questions, especially on drug trafficking cases that involved Bruneians.
