The PJN Pg Haji Abu Bakar School, situated in Kg Pandan, Kuala Belait, recently distributed its anti-drugs and anti-smoking leaflets to students of the school as part of its efforts to mark Anti-Drugs Day.

A ceremony, which took place at the school's sports field complex, saw leaflets distributed by the school's Anti-Drugs Group or 'A-Team', led by student leader, Salwa binte Haji Abdul Rahman, to representatives of uniformed groups and other students.

Over fifty leaflets were handed out to the students from the army and police cadets, as well as the girl guides scouts association and other students.

The event was dedicated to stressing the message that students should stay away from drugs and not to get involved in unhealthy activities such as smoking and consuming drugs. The leaflets contained important messages regarding the dangers of drug use as well as its associated adverse social and societal effects.
