A-team, an anti-drugs student group recently organised a Dakwah Song Competition opened to students of Sekolah Menengah PJN Pg Abu Bakar in Kg Pandan Kuala Belait.

The competition was organised to inculcate religious values through religious activities so students would not be easily influenced into taking drugs.

The religious competition was also aimed to unearth the students' talents in singing.

Nine groups took part in the preliminary round and the best five groups competed in the finals.

A-team members said all groups put on their best show by using traditional music equipment.

The winner for the competition was Al-Kurma group while the second and third places went to Shababut-Taqwa and Al-Khairul Mukminin groups respectively.
